Dance Class Workshops

Students are encouraged to wear clothing that they have the freedom to move in such as leggings, leotards, tights, and other movement or athletic wear.

We recommend wearing “sticky” socks with no-slip grip on the bottom for class, as the wood floors can sometimes feel slippery. However, dancers are also welcome to wear dance shoes (any style) or clean sneakers to class if they prefer more stability. But any shoes that have been worn outdoors must be wiped clean and check any tread to remove any rocks or debris before stepping into the studio. No heels on the dance floor please.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class. Students are to wait with their guardians outside of the studio until welcomed in by an instructor. Parents are kindly asked to refrain from entering the studio during class and from any visually distracting actions. If you are going to be late to a scheduled class or group class, please call Whitlock Recreation Center to notify the teacher at (303) 987-4800 or call our main line at (303) 816-8683.

Cancellation fees will apply in the case of not showing up to a scheduled drop-in class or group class and/or failing to cancel in advance (2 hours prior). If you have any issues arriving on time for a schedule class or a group class, please call Whitlock Recreation Center to notify the teacher at (303) 987-4800 or call our main line at (303) 816-8683.

Enrollment is continuous throughout the entire season unless requested to cancel prior to the first of the month.

Make-up class opportunities will be offered where applicable for absences.
