Feel the Beat Team Member Spotlight: Brooklyn Gueller

Our next Team MemberSpotlight features Feel the Beat instructor, Brooklyn Gueller.

Brooklyn grew up dancing and it has always been her favorite way to have fun, express herself, and exercise. As she grew up, Brooklyn learned that she loved connecting with people of all different abilities. In college she was part of a group similar to Feel the Beat, and it lit a fire in her soul to keep dancing in inclusive spaces. Brooklyn loves being able to dance together and make new friends.

Tell us about your role at Feel the Beat. How long have you been at Feel the Beat and what drew you to the organization?

I have worked at Feel the Beat since summer of 2025. I love dancing and I love inclusivity! I was part of a similar group where I had just moved from and wanted to continue, so I looked up inclusive dance studios when I got here.

What is your personal mission statement and what about that mission statement resonates with you most?

I love the quote by Morgan Harper Nichols: "Keep looking where the light pours in." Whenever I'm confused or having a hard time, I find myself returning to this quote. Dancing and inclusivity are two major sources of light in my life.

Is there a person in your life you credit as being a key to what motivates or inspires you on a daily basis? How have they impacted your life both personally and professionally?

My mom has always embodied love and kindness. She is super generous and thoughtful, and I want to be just like her!

Tell us about a recent experience you’ve had in your role at Feel the Beat – something funny, inspiring, challenging, etc.

The open house for the Performance Shift location was so fun. I felt so much joy getting to teach my ideas and choreography and seeing the students excel and have fun, too.

Outside of dancing at Feel the Beat, what do you like to do for fun?

I love to craft! I like to make anything that's colorful and fun, but especially home decor.
